Strongtree Guesthouse
Our family has always enjoyed hosting others and welcoming them to our quiet country lifestyle. I have long dreamed of building a unique space to offer those who love to escape to the country, let life slow down, and connect with the people they love most.
With the help of my father and husband, we have just finished building a 1,200 sqft guesthouse on our property. It is full of cozy charm, unexpected surprises and a collection of art of course!
Most everything in the guesthouse has been made by hand, our hands in fact! Lovingly pieced together or from second hand shops and carefully designed to give guests not just a luxurious place to stay, but a complete experience to explore.
Why yes, or course you will get lovely handmade soaps to try during your visit.

I have poured over the details and design building a guesthouse worthy of welcoming other creatives, those who love nature or simply want to escape and be inspired. Warm hospitality is something best served in person.

The five of us stayed for a weekend girls trip and it was the perfect amount of space exceeding our expectations— comfortable, peaceful, you can feel Renée’s creativity and artistry throughout the entire space. We spent every meal on the porch, watched lightning bugs and the sunrise, hiked through the woods nearby, watched the cows, and just completely relaxed. One of the highlights was doing a soap-making class with her that we booked in advace as well as taking home artwork, soaps, and handmade items we purchase in the guesthouse. By far the best stay we found within hours of St. Louis.
